Hello, I'm Zink!
I am skilled in production, character animation, editing, sculpting, and most recently, have light experience in film and radio. I enjoy working with cartoons and stories through abstraction and other various assets. My future goal is to successfully direct and produce shows of my own in my own studio. I have strong leadership skills, a motivational drive to improve, and am confident in my abilities. I live for a life of adventure.
Since I was practically an infant, I have watched cartoons religiously, especially those of Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Disney, and Dreamworks. I have always loved to draw, and began to develop my art seriously at the age of 12. At the age of 14, my friend and I began developing a story for an animated television series "Redemption" that we continue to develop to this day, and plan to hopefully bring it to public light in the form of a web or television series in the future.
My digital silhouette drawings are focused on the individual they represent and the life struggles of that person. The more personal goal of my art is to create worlds where light-heartedness rules and where rules are undermined. The character, shape or content of my artwork is the main intention of the presentations.
My influences have been that of Chris Sanders, Butch Hartman, Bev Dolittle, and various other artists known for their subliminal undertones.
By using popular themes such as family structure, morals, inner struggles and friendship, I strive to create intense emotional moments skillfully created by means of omissions, acceptance and refusal.
